From Our Clients

Kenetic Type

Innovative animations using stylish typography were used to get across Yesitcan's message explaining cloud computing and cutting edge web design. Animation using graphical lettering is a great way to communicate on your website. Ask us for more details.

Music video

For the video to Candy Rose's song "So you know", Anachronistic combined a cartoon style with an art-deco look, producing an atmospheric and engaging story to compliment the song.

Janet Kay and Spoonface

"So Good" was a release by Janet Kay and Spoonface (both, top 3 selling musicians in their own right). The artists wanted a video that reflected the song's upbeat sound. Anachronistic created a series of colourful animations for the promo, producing a striking and memorable video.

Saudi Safety ads

Anachronistic created a series of road safety ads for an advertising company in Saudi Arabia. When working with Anachronistic, distance is no object.

Virtual Obama

Our job here was to create a virtual holographic Obama. We used facial motion tracking and video manipulation to turn our actor into the leader of the free world... One of our favourite effects this, winning us a Musion Academy award.

HTC launches Android

HTC's launch of its latest Android phones in Belgium required a massive viral campaign. Anachronistic created 3D spaceships which appeared to emerge from the walls of Antwerp station!

TV intro

The challenge in this introduction for a TV documentary producer was to create cartoon and realistic 3d effects which could combine with shot video.

Gothminister

Norwegian goth sensation, Gothminister wanted to create a dark, atomospheric effects-heavy music video for their song, "Freak". Anachronistic created backgrounds, flocks of crows, smoke, dragons and a thunderstorm as well as compositing the band into a fantasy world...

Local TV

Local TV channel, Forge TV needed a new set of logo ident animations in keeping with their young audience. Anachronistic was happy to help.

TV Series

Anachronistic created dozens of virtual studios, and completed over five hours of greenscreen effects for TV series, "That's English". We're already booked in for series 2, but if you've got a TV programme needing FX, get in touch.

Euronav

International cargo giants, Euronav wanted to upgrade their web presence, so they commissioned us to provide web banners showing their routes and vessels.

Revolutionary ideas

It is never easy to sell a new idea - which is why when a company backed by Cambridge university came up with a revolutionary way of charging electric vehicles as quickly as filling up a petrol car, they asked Anachronistic to show investors how it worked.

Underwater prehistory

Dudley Canal trust wanted to create a compelling video experience for visitors allowing them to take a cinema quality journey through the history of the planet. With our experience in blending scientific and dramatic reconstructions, Anachronistic were the natural choice.

Carlton Hotels

As part of a re-vamp for their entire web presence, Anachronistic was asked to work on videos for ten hotels across Ireland for one of the biggest chains in the country.

Capital One Presentation

This presentation for Capital One credit cards was the ideal way for the company to communicate its story internaly.... When you have a strong message to get across, sometimes powerpoint just does not cut it.

Dinosaur poster

Poster company, GBeye asked Anachronistic to create a series of accurate dinosaur reconstructions for an educational poster. The large scale image needed to contain an exceptional level of detail as well as be as accurate as scientific knowledge allowed. We’re not stuck to A4 or restricted to the frame of a TV screen. If you’ve got a large scale project, talk to us.

Stafford Castle

Stafford Castle in the UK asked Anachronistic to produce a 3d animated reconstruction showing visitors what the castle would have looked like in medieval times. The reconstruction was not of the ruined stone castle currently on the site, but of the wooden structure which would have been there centuries before so the project involved consulting with historians. In the end, we produced a virtual model of an entire medieval village around the castle. If your project requires accurate reconstruction, Anachronistic is your best choice. We’re used to involving experts in our work rather than operating in a vacuum.

JkgE Productions

For the short film, “Imagination” Anachronistic had just a week to design and animate a range of pencil sketched characters to be composited into shot video scenes. The character animations had to look as through they’d escaped from a comic book into the real world. What’s more, the entire project had to be realised in high definition. Anachronistic can often use its creative approach to shorten production times or bring work in to tight budgets.

Future publishing

The UK’s second largest publishing company, Future Publishing asked Anachronistic to create a series of video productions showcasing five of their most prestigious titles. The animated portion of these videos included photoreal 3d product shots of the magazines - each with their own definitive animation styles. Using animation rather than photography allowed us to bring the magazines to life in surprising and compelling ways. Anachronistic is able to shoot video interviews and combine them with animation to create a complete video production.

Cover for the Science Journal, Nature

When the prestigious science journal, Nature wanted a strong cover image for their first issue of 2009 – The International Year of Astronomy, they called on Anachronistic’s graphic design and illustration skills. Some of our previous illustrations for Nature have been re-published all over the world. Whether you give us a full brief, or just an idea, you can rely on Anachronistic for an imaginative interpretation.

Vodaphone

Anachronistic was asked to produce a graphic illustration for a print ad for one of Vodaphone’s business offers. The image is modelled in 3d, but depicts an object which could never be constructed. This kind of graphic design project is becoming increasingly popular among advertisers who want photographic realism without the need for expensive photo shoots and model making. Large and small clients from all over the world trust Anachronistic with their image.

Casella

In this one-off 3d animated logo video for a corporate event run by US waste management company, Casella, Anachronistic was asked to combine dozens of logos from different parts of the company into a single animation. Despite a tight deadline and fifty different logos, the complex animation was designed and completed in just a few days. Getting results with animation can be a long process, but Anachronistic has its own render farm working 24 hours a day, so we can often take on projects with a very quick turn-around.

The Wellness Fund

When Ethical Investment portfolio, The Wellness Fund wanted a series of animations to explain the company’s policies to new investors in a series of meetings and presentations, they turned to Anachronistic. The video animation design here had to be stylish, professional and modern, and work well as web graphics, video productions and presentation graphics. In the City, a professional, stylish look, and instant clarity are paramount. When getting your point across really matters, Anachronistic have to be your first stop.

Yacht Safety

For this high profile project, Anachronistic was asked to create a high quality 3d animated video explaining safety procedures to guests on one of the world’s most exclusive luxury motor yachts. The motion graphics for this project had to have a clean, but distinctive and classic look. Anachronistic was chosen for the job because the character animation needed to be sharp, funny and yet understated. The yachts guests include Hollywood and the music industry’s finest, and if there’s one thing they know, it’s quality video production, so Anachronistic was the natural choice for the animation.

Trilobites

Trilobites became extinct millions of years before the dinosaurs evolved, but for a museum in Cancun, Mexico, Anachronistic brought these fascinating and complex creatures back to life for a 15 minute long video production. The 3d character animation involved in reconstructing these multi-legged creatures was a challenge in itself and all the post production was handled by Anachronistic. Many animators are simply animators – Anachronistic was selected for this production partly because of our ability to add extras - video footage, music and voiceover - to create a finished video production entirely in-house.

Shark story

For this TV documentary, Anachronistic was charged with reconstructing fossil sharks and other extinct creatures using the latest techniques in 3d animation to create realistic motion graphics of life in the ancient oceans. Realistic animated creatures are some of the most difficult effects to pull off in 3d, but Anachronistic successfully brought 11 different animals to life in High Definition for this project and the documentary has now been broadcast on 3 continents.

How to colonise the Stars - deadalus reconstruction

For this computer animation rich television documentary on the discovery of planets outside our solar system and the possible technologies allowing travel to them, photorealistic reconstructions of several proposed star-ships based on researcher’s designs were needed. Animated landscape shots of alien worlds and illustrative motion graphics were also required. Such a wide range of work would usually have taken co-ordinated efforts by several different animation companies, but Anachronistic was able to handle it all.
